Like Livingstone on the Nile

Admittedly, the title is a bit too catchy for what it was. But here it is, the story of an exploration. In summary: It was significantly cooler on the water than expected. Bricks are being burned along the entire nile shores from Khartoum down 30 km. The fishes, presumably nile perches, are biting feet of explorers. There are lots of birds, few fishermen, loads of people taking their bath, some colorful boats. The water of the Blue Nile is rather brownish at this time of the year (June). And it is great to arrive back in Khartoum, especially when a cold beer, Lomo and a Spanish tortilla is waiting.
