March 2011 | I slowly get this feeling. I guess all the three of us do. Fort Green increasingly feels like home to me. Unsurprisingly so, considering how often we strolled along its avenues seeking for coffee and a playground. Fort Green has something special to it, something that allows young families, artists, retirees to feel equally at home. I haven’t actually discovered any other neighborhood in New York yet that brings together such a diversity of strata – not in terms of ethnic origins, there are plenty, but in terms of people at different stages in life and society. Remarkable.
